Virus Protection applications

(Applicable to versions prior to 3.1.0802.x only).

An executable is installed as part of this installation which attempts to authenticate the user desiring access to Overtur. To ensure a user has access to Overtur, please allow the following folder within your preferred virus protection application:

Allow this folder: %programdata%/OvtPlugin4Rvt

The OvtPlugin4Rvt.Auth.exe within the AUTH subfolder is required to authenticate the user within Overtur. If this file is missing from the folder location noted above, it will be necessary to re-install the Overtur for Revit plug-in.

Network Installation

Instructions below are intended for firms where group policies may be configured to allow for silent installations of distributed applications.

Network Ports

(Applicable to versions prior to 3.1.0802.x only).
When there are multiple users logging into a shared virtual machine, Auth0 communicates through a single port.
The case above was found to cause UserB not to be able to log into Overtur, as UserA already had the port occupied. Therefore, additional dynamic ports are available to allow communication to take place for multiple users when using the same virtual machine. Those ports include:

Network Deployment

A Microsoft (Windows) Installer MSI package is used to make the installation process easier on a Windows Operating System.
